A new International Airport is planned to become operative:

Ilha do Guajirú North International Airport!

Located at no more then 35 car minutes away from the Ecological Paradise, the airport is moving forward with maximum speed:

• the works have already been contracted:

The airport has to be delivered latest 360 days after signature of the contract.

The works, involving an government investment of Reais 60.- million = euro 25 million, are split up in 2 stages:

Stage 1: the start and landing strip, involving Rs 51.- million.

Stage 2: the passenger terminal, with customs & police desks Rs 9.- million.
