Ilha do Guajirú becoming Urban Zone instead of Rural

Recently, all area´s of Ilha do Guajirú have been decided by the prefeitura to become Urban Zone instead of Rural.

With this amendment taken place, now all ways are open for Ilha do Guajirú to become further developed, both into the touristical as well as the residencial direction.

The execution of this change at municipality level may still take some months, but within a limited time frame they will now change the socalled “Plano Diretor” (the Zoning Scheme).

The results of this crucial amendment are already noticable at Ilha do Guajirú eversince the decision has been taken: large investments have been made by now by various large & reputable overseas company’s.
