After Brazil obtained the award to organise the Olympics Games for 2016, Brazil is now investing large sums of money into it's infrastructure. tourism and sporting facilities.

Very close to Ilha do Guajirú, at only 25 minutes distance resp. no more then 10 minutes away from Guajirú North International Airport, a complete Olympic Village (!) is arising, out of nowhere and as a result of an impressive government capital injection.
