Taking the ferry upwind, and moving slowly down the River, you will automatically arrive at the island’s pittoresque Port.

Here, local fishermen board their coloured vessels everyday heading for the sea, by passing the Dunes next to the Secret Spot.

Formerly, before the Dunes broke at the Secret Spot, the vessels passed all the way through the Main Lagoon, but nowadays, no motored vessel needs to pass the there anymore: a delight to the many watersporters on the Main Lagoon today.

Go early morning and see what fish they caught for you for dinner!

Walk around the Port’s quay and visit the small fishing village behind it.
